Driven by Growth, Grounded in Experience.
I believe education and continuous development are the engines of human and technological progress. This conviction has shaped my journey and fuels my passion for helping individuals and organizations thrive.
Early Passion
I wrote my first lines of code as a child. By high school, I was already freelancing and shipping real-world software.
Diverse Experience
After graduating, I navigated diverse environments – from agile 10-person startups where I wore many hats, to global tech giants like Amazon and Meta, where I honed my skills in scaling complex systems and leading impactful teams. Each experience broadened my perspective and deepened my expertise.
Leadership & Mentorship
Leadership, for me, has always been about empowerment. Since taking on my first team lead role in 2006, I've been deeply invested in cultivating the potential of those around me, fostering environments where engineers can do their best work and grow. As an introvert, I also learned that leadership isn't about being the loudest voice, but about clear vision, empathetic guidance, and empowering others.
Bridging Worlds
In 2010, my journey expanded into the business realm. This shift, culminating in a COO role at a startup, provided invaluable insights into how businesses operate, enabling me to effectively bridge the often-perceived gap between pure engineering and strategic product development. I learned to speak both languages fluently.
Foundations in Growth
Early teaching roles, combined with studies in tutoring and psychology, shaped my belief that education is the primary driver of human progress. This isn't just a professional strategy; it's a fundamental driver. I am committed to continuously learning myself and am deeply invested in fostering growth in the people and organizations I work with. It’s about unlocking potential and building capabilities that last.
Why I Advise & Mentor Today
My diverse background, spanning hands-on engineering, executive leadership, and strategic product thinking, allows me to offer uniquely holistic advice. I help startups de-risk their ventures and VCs assess technical viability by understanding the full picture, from code to market.
Empathetic Guidance
Having walked the path from junior engineer to senior principal, and experienced the challenges of burnout and imposter syndrome, I offer empathetic and practical guidance. Combined with my psychology insights, I help engineers navigate their careers, build resilience, and unlock their leadership potential.
